Mandy’s Monthly!- February

Hello!  Well, about a week and a half after I blogged my last monthly Daryn committed to run Florida for #25 Pete’s Motorsports Team.   We then headed to PA to meet the crew, put Daryn’s seat in the car, and then head south to race the All Star races at Ocala.  The team had a very successful 10 nights of racing, with the worst finish being an 11th and ending the Florida races with a win at East Bay! Yeah!  Everyone was very excited to end the busy week with that type of momentum.  We enjoyed our time in Florida with our new team, but could have done without the coldest night in Florida history.  Imagine that… we head to Florida and they get record lows for about 3 days.  It was below freezing a few nights!  Special thanks to Brian, Kevin, and Pete for working so hard to make Florida happen and to the sponsors who came on board to help out with the costs!!   It was a great start for the team and for us as 09 seemed dismal, but it is getting better and better!!  As I speak Daryn is in Las Vegas to race the second 83jr car for Dennis & Teresa Roth.  We again thank Todd, Dennis, & Teresa for the opportunity!  On Friday, Daryn plans to head to PA to meet up with the #25 crew for Lincoln…weather permitting!   Hopefully, we can finalize Daryn’s 2009 schedule soon.  (I will post it as soon as we do!)  I will try to keep everyone posted as I am stuck at home now listening on the computer and waiting for text messages ….Baby Taylor is due in 4 weeks!!  We really appreciate all the support we received the last month from our family, fans, and friends!  Thank You…It means alot!!!!
