Mandy’s Monthly!- October

Hello Everyone!  Happy Fall!  It seems to be that this global warming stuff is a bunch of bull.  It is already colder in Indiana than normal so it looks like we are in for a long winter!!   I miss summer already!  

Daryn and the #17 team have been rained out 7 times in the month of October!   That is a lot considering the schedule was back to weekends only.   Other than raining out the team has not really even raced enough to discuss the results and my only comment for the Grove race “opinions are like ….buttholes everyone has one!” 

The family is doing great with Taylor doing more and more each month.  She is really starting get a little personality.  She scoots around the living room now on her tummy backwards and enjoys sitting up playing with her toys.  She babbles a lot, but I still have not mastered baby language so who know what she is saying.  She has seen all of her grandparents this month and enjoyed the time with my family in Memphis and her Nana from Tulsa.  Daryn & I had our first weekend away this month and it was hard to leave, but once I was gone it was ok.   I did miss her, but she did fine without me!     She does have a Halloween costume I will try to post a few new pics soon.

Well, only 2 more weekends for racing….well only 1 for us…Charlotte unless Daryn can find a 360 ride for Short Track next weekend.    After racing we focus on Colts games (speaking of Colts 6-0 today!! YAHOO)  hockey games (Indiana Ice) and getting ready for Kemper and Chili Bowl.  Daryn will be running the familiar #21 Bob Hurley Ford midget.

We also still have a truck and trailer for sale along with 1 engine if you know anyone that is interested pass on the word for us…we need to get rid of it!!   BTW …T-shirts are now $10!!!   I only have a limited stock so get them for Christmas gifts now!!
