Mandy’s Monthly!- December

Hello!  I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!    The boys have been busy as bees in the shop daily working on preparing for the 2009 season.  Daryn and Dave Sharpley have been building the midget Daryn is racing at the Kemper Arena on December 19 & 20th too.  Also, I big shout out to Wayne Lawrence our team manager (haha) who suffered a major heart attack in Australia.

We now have 4 bare frames with all bolt on accessories ready for assembly.  We sold most of the 2008 season stuff, but still have 2 Don Ott Engines and 1 complete Maxim roller for sale for $8000 if anyone is interested please email us at darynpittman@yahoo.com

Anyway,  Christmas is right around the corner along with the 09 season.  We will be leaving on Dec. 24th to go race World Series Speed Week in Australia and return to Tulsa just in time for the Chili Bowl.   Daryn will be teammates with Ricky Ehrgott at both midget races and the cars will be sponsored by Bob Hurley Ford and Bob Hurley GMC of Tulsa, OK.  We appreciate Bob Hurley’s support for our midget campaign next weekend and in January. 

The Titan cars are painted the same beautiful blue as the 08 Knoxville car and look great!  After Chili Bowl I think we have 10 days before we leave the shop for Florida so I am sure that the week of Jan. 20 will be a crazy one!
